給与担当/ Payroll Specialist

A global air conditioning manufacturer is looking for a Payroll Specialist. The selected candidate will manage end-to-end payroll and timekeeping operations while ensuring compliance and process efficiency. This is a hybrid and contract position.

Responsibilities:

• Process and review monthly payroll, troubleshoot issues, and approve payments
• Oversee time and attendance operations including data validation and issue resolution
• Handle payments for taxes, social security, benefits, and third-party obligations
• Support implementation of new payroll and T&A system initiatives
• Collaborate with payroll vendors to enhance process efficiency
• Ensure compliance with regulations and internal audit controls

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in human resources, payroll, business, or a relevant domain
• More than 5 years of experience in payroll and T&A in a foreign MNC
• Experience managing multiple, competing tasks and priorities
• Knowledge of local regulations in Japan (labor rule/ social security rule) is ideal
• Fluent level Japanese; business level English
