外部製造マネージャー & PMO/ External Manufacturing Manager and PMO

A global pharmaceutical company is seeking an External Manufacturing Manager and a PMO. The selected candidate will lead strategic manufacturing projects and ensure successful execution across multiple contract manufacturing organisations.

Responsibilities:

• Manage strategic manufacturing and packaging projects using project management tools to meet agreed scopes, timelines, budgets, and deliverables
• Coordinate with sites, functional representatives, and stakeholders to align priorities
• Apply effective problem-solving to address challenges in project delivery
• Escalate issues to sponsors, stakeholders, and brand leads as appropriate
• Identify and share best practices to improve project delivery and supply chain capabilities
• Drive continuous improvement through simplification, standardisation, and lean principles
• Track and report project progress to sponsors, governance bodies, and senior management
• Provide updates and insights to support project stage-gate reviews and approvals
• Manage project budgets and expenses to meet commitments
• Oversee resource allocation and resolve potential conflicts to ensure strategy delivery

Requirements:

• More than 5 years of experience in commercial/business and manufacturing functions in pharmaceutical, chemical, or related industry
• Practical experience working globally in a matrix environment
• Experience presenting to senior management
• Proficient in project management with a proven track record delivering complex, cross-functional, multi-site projects on time and within budget
• Ability and willingness to travel
• Possess a valid project management certification (PMP) preferred
• Professional level Japanese and English
