メディカルマネージャー/ Medical Manager

A multinational pharmaceutical company is looking for a Medical Manager / Medical Advisor in Specialty. The selected candidate will develop and execute medical strategies, manage scientific collaborations, engage with key opinion leaders, oversee clinical studies, and provide scientific support across the organisation.

Responsibilities:

• Collect and manage medical insights while maintaining deep knowledge of therapeutic areas
• Develop annual medical strategies under the guidance of the line manager
• Supervise, develop, and manage Phase IV studies and IIT in accordance with SOPs and medical objectives
• Monitor medical developments in relevant therapeutic areas
• Communicate and align annual medical strategies with internal peers
• Develop action plans based on the medical strategy
• Execute annual action plans while maintaining effective stakeholder communication
• Lead medical knowledge management across the organisation
• Develop creative and innovative channels for medical training
• Represent the company as a scientific expert in engagements with key opinion leaders, scientific organisations, and institutes
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure medical compliance and balanced, non-misleading medical communications
• Review and approve promotional and non-promotional medical materials

Requirements:

• Master's degree or above in Medical Science or Clinical Medicine
• 2-3 years of experience in Medical Affairs within the pharmaceutical industry
• Ability to understand and communicate complex scientific information effectively
• Strong scientific knowledge and technical expertise in therapeutic areas
• Strong statistical and data interpretation skills
• Medical paper writing skills
• Strategic understanding of affiliate organisational needs
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, planning, and organisational skills
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities
• Strong relationship-building skills with key opinion leaders and physicians
• Experience managing scientific exchange with healthcare professionals and internal stakeholders
• Experience presenting at congresses and one-on-one meetings
• Business level English and Japanese

Preferred requirements:

• Ph.D. in Medical Science or Clinical Medicine
• Experience formulating and executing clinical studies
