購買コーディネーター/ Purchasing Coordinator
An international power management company is looking for a Purchasing Coordinator. The selected candidate will manage end-to-end purchasing operations, coordinate with suppliers and internal teams, and maintain accurate ERP data to support a stable supply chain.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare purchase requests and issue purchase orders for local suppliers based on manufacturing component shortage alerts
- Confirm part numbers, pricing, and lead times with suppliers and submit component schedules to planners
- Obtain competitive quotations to ensure cost-effective sourcing
- Receive and inspect incoming goods and process supplier payments
- Prepare purchase requests and issue purchase orders for inter-company and overseas suppliers
- Confirm part numbers, lead times, and transfer prices and submit delivery schedules to inter-company customer service representatives
- Review cost breakdowns and submit transfer price requests
- Acknowledge sales orders for inter-company resale items and update confirmed delivery dates in the manufacturing system
- Coordinate with the customer service team to communicate delivery schedules and negotiate adjustments
- Process and verify forwarder invoices to ensure accurate and timely logistics payments
- Manage import inspection suppliers for resale items
- Coordinate import schedules and manage delivery priorities
- Maintain accurate ERP system data to support purchasing and production operations
- Create and update supplier master and item master records, including pricing, transfer prices, cost breakdowns, and lead times
- Hold regular meetings with suppliers to identify and prevent potential issues
- Monitor delivery status, manage priorities, and negotiate with suppliers as required
- Conduct regular online meetings with inter-company planners to resolve delivery delays
- Support new product development by contributing to product understanding and supplier selection
- Identify and develop new suppliers for future development needs and emerging technologies
Requirements:
- Experience with ERP and manufacturing systems for data entry and maintenance
- Experience coordinating with Planning, Customer Service, and overseas teams
- Experience negotiating with suppliers on pricing, delivery schedules, and priorities
- Professional level Japanese; business level English
