ロジスティクスコーディネーター/ Logistics Coordinator

A global logistics company is looking for a Logistics Coordinator. The selected candidate will coordinate logistics operations, manage shipments and order processes, support air and ocean forwarding activities, and resolve operational issues with internal and external stakeholders. This is a contract role.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and oversee inbound ASN receipts for VIP accounts connected to the global company
• Check received documents and confirm eligibility for system updates
• Create orders and dispatch them to the appropriate parties for execution
• Coordinate daily shipments from customer platforms and communicate with partner warehouses
• Build and execute order management processes and improve existing processes as needed
• Manage value-added services projects
• Troubleshoot systematic errors and physical delivery irregularities with relevant stakeholders
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement preventive solutions
• Support air and ocean import/export forwarding operations
• Provide air and ocean freight quotations to customers
• Communicate with other departments and 3PL companies regarding forwarding operations

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above
• 1-3 year of relevant experience in operations, transportation, distribution, forwarding, customs, or related areas
• Experience managing vendors in a fast-paced environment
• Experience directly managing and driving metrics
• Ability to work in a cross-functional, fast-paced environment and drive complex operational initiatives
• Effective organisational skills, attention to detail, and an execution-focused approach
• Fluent level Japanese and English
