Head of Distribution

An international semiconductor manufacturer is looking for a Head of Distribution. The selected candidate will lead distribution strategy, optimise logistics operations, develop high-performing teams, and drive supply chain excellence across the business. This is a hybrid role.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute distribution strategies to enhance supply chain performance and agility
• Lead, coach, and develop logistics and distribution teams
• Collaborate with sales, operations, and customer service teams to achieve business objectives
• Establish and monitor KPIs to improve distribution performance and regulatory compliance
• Manage relationships with logistics partners, suppliers, and carriers to optimise service and costs
• Drive logistics innovation through automation and data-driven decision-making

Requirements:

• 7-10 years of experience working in distribution or supply chain leadership roles (industrial or technical sectors)
• Skilled in designing and managing complex distribution networks that meet high service levels
• Background in logistics and distribution management
• Professional level Japanese and English

Preferred requirements:

• Experience working in or with the Japanese market
• Knowledge of supply chain IT systems and analytics tools
