カスタマークオリティエンジニアスーパーバイザー/ Customer Quality Engineer Supervisor

An international automotive technology company is looking for a Customer Quality Engineer Supervisor. The selected candidate will lead customer quality activities, support manufacturing sites, coordinate quality documentation and audits, and drive continuous quality improvement to meet customer requirements. This is a hybrid setup role.

Responsibilities:

• Manage communication between customers and manufacturing plants
• Lead manufacturing sites in understanding and meeting customer expectations and quality requirements
• Coordinate and support customer evaluations and quality audits within the region
• Coordinate and support the submission of quality documents for APQP, PPAP, and 4M changes
• Coordinate and support corrective actions using the 8D methodology and analyse market quality trends
• Review and submit quality-related documents, including change requests, 8D reports, and supporting documentation following assessment and management approval
• Support manufacturing sites in sustaining and improving customer quality performance

Requirements:

• More than 5 years of experience in automotive quality, manufacturing, and/or engineering
• Experience in customer-facing roles within Quality, Product Development, Product Management, or Sales
• Background in quality system tools and processes
• Knowledge of problem-solving methodologies
• Data analysis skills with experience in warranty performance, PPM, warranty claim validation, or related quality metrics
• Knowledge of Failure Mode Effects Analysis (FMEA) and Process Failure Mode Effects Analysis (PFMEA)
• Business level English; fluent level Japanese

Preferred requirements:

• Quality experience or product knowledge of Cluster, Display, or CMU products
• Experience managing customer PPAP
