Head of Quality Network

An international consumer goods company is seeking a Head of Quality Network for Japan & South Korea. The selected candidate will oversee multi-site quality management, ensure compliance with global standards, and drive operational excellence across manufacturing plants. This is a hybrid setup role.

Responsibilities:

• Deploy and govern global quality systems, including SQC, MOC, CtQ standards, FRPS, and PFMEA, across all sites
• Ensure full compliance with CtQ standards and conduct monthly MOC/ADP governance reviews
• Drive product complaint reduction initiatives and implement DFMEA and PFMEA for risk mitigation in new projects
• Establish and lead structured problem-solving approaches such as A3, 8D, and FRPS to resolve major quality issues
• Develop talent pipelines, ensure optimal staffing, and enhance team competencies in collaboration with HR
• Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders to address issues and drive continuous improvement

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in engineering (Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical, or related)
• 8–10 years of progressive experience in manufacturing quality management, preferably in chemical, automotive, or electronics industries
• Prior Multi-site Quality Management experience in a leadership role or related technical discipline
• Experience managing quality expectations of tier-1 global clients
• Proven track record of deploying global quality systems such as SQC, MOC, PFMEA, and problem-solving tools in multi-site environments
• Understanding of quality standards and requirements, including ISO, VDA, IATF, PPAP
• Possess a valid certification in Six Sigma, Lean Management, Auditor Experience, or Root Cause Analysis
• Proficient in Japanese, English, or Korean
