サプライチェーン計画コーディネーター/ Supply Chain Planning Coordinator

An international consumer goods company is seeking a Supply Chain Planning Coordinator. The selected candidate will coordinate import processes, shipping arrangements, customs clearance support, inbound inventory tracking, logistics documentation, and supply chain issue resolution. This is a hybrid setup role.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate import processes with freight forwarders, including shipment scheduling and tracking
• Support vessel booking and shipment arrangements to ensure timely delivery
• Monitor shipment status and proactively communicate delays or issues
• Prepare and manage import documentation in coordination with freight forwarders and suppliers
• Support customs clearance processes by ensuring the accuracy and completeness of documents
• Maintain accurate records of shipping and import documentation
• Support the Planning Manager in coordinating inbound shipments and inventory availability
• Track inbound inventory and provide updates on expected arrival dates
• Assist in managing supply-related data and systems
• Support the resolution of import and shipment-related issues, including delays and discrepancies
• Escalate issues as needed and coordinate with relevant stakeholders for resolution
• Ensure the accuracy of shipment data and internal tracking systems
• Support improvements in import and planning coordination processes

Requirements:

• 2-4 years of experience in logistics, import/export, or supply chain operations
• Experience handling shipping documents and coordinating with freight forwarders
• Basic proficiency in Excel and office tools
• Basic understanding of import, logistics, and supply chain processes
• System and data handling capability, including logistics tracking systems
• Professional level Japanese

Preferred requirements:

• Experience in customs clearance or import processes
• Experience in the FMCG or consumer goods industry
• Experience with logistics systems
• Basic level English
