An international market research and data analytics company is looking for a Senior Insights Analyst. The successful candidate will manage client relationships, deliver data-driven market insights, and support strategic business decisions using consumer market intelligence.

Responsibilities:

• Manage relationships with a portfolio of Japanese multinational client accounts
• Conduct trade interviews and validate sales data to improve data quality and relevance
• Utilise Passport market intelligence data to deliver tailored insights across the consumer goods and services industries in Japan and Asia Pacific
• Lead and support client meetings to advise on the effective use of market data for strategic decision-making
• Collaborate with research, consulting, and sales teams to align client needs with relevant data, insights, and commercial solutions
• Present insights at client events and industry conferences

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above
• 3-5 years of experience in market research, consulting, or client-facing insights roles
• Strong communication and analytical skills with the ability to explain data and market trends to clients
• Strong commercial awareness and stakeholder management skills
• Possess a valid authorisation to work in Japan
• Business level Japanese and English

Preferred requirements:

• Experience in the packaged food industry
• Experience in the beauty industry
