貿易コンプライアンスマネージャー/ Trade Compliance Manager

An international consulting firm is seeking a Trade Compliance Manager. The selected candidate will lead teams to deliver regional projects, advise clients on trade compliance, and develop strategic solutions to improve efficiency and cost savings.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and execute regional customs and trade projects in collaboration with cross-border teams
• Conduct research and analysis on customs and trade regulations to advise on import/export strategies
• Apply expertise in customs valuation, classification, FTAs, and compliance to client business processes
• Identify opportunities to enhance trade efficiency, cost savings, and compliance improvements
• Support senior leadership in managing client portfolios and business development initiatives
• Drive practice improvements, new service offerings, and staff development initiatives

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in a trade or business-related field
• More than 6 years of customs and trade professional experience in consulting or industry
• Proven expertise in Japan customs or export controls regulations
• Prior experience in a consulting or trading firm environment is a plus
• Experience managing and developing staff
• Strong project management skills
• Ability and willingness to travel
• Bilingual level Japanese and English
