ビジネスディベロップメントマネージャー/ Business Development Manager

A renowned energy company is seeking a Business Development Manager (CPPA). The selected candidate will lead corporate PPA structuring and client relationship management to expand the company’s clean energy portfolio.

Responsibilities:

• Build and manage relationships with corporate clients to understand their renewable and BESS needs
• Lead the structuring and negotiation of Corporate PPAs and BESS tolling agreements
• Collaborate with Legal, Finance, and Technical teams to develop agreements
• Conduct market analysis to identify new corporate PPA opportunities
• Assess and manage risks in coordination with the Risk Management team
• Support financial modeling and pricing strategies for corporate PPA transactions
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and monitor policy changes
• Work cross-functionally to optimise PPA and BESS outcomes

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Business, Finance, Economics, Law, Engineering, or related field
• Proven experience in negotiating and structuring corporate PPAs
• Prior work experience with internal and external renewable energy stakeholders
• Experience with data analysis tools is ideal
• In-depth knowledge of the Japanese renewable energy market and regulations
• Consulting background in power, infrastructure, or energy sectors is a plus
• Proficient in MS Office Suite
• Fluent level Japanese; business level English
