シニア会計士（総勘定元帳担当）/ Senior Accountant, GL

A renowned technology company is looking for a Senior Accountant, GL. The selected candidate will oversee General Ledger accounting, financial reporting, compliance, treasury, and finance improvement initiatives for the Japan business. This is a hybrid role.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary contact for General Ledger accounting and coordinate with the global shared services team
• Review journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end closing deliverables
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting and statutory account preparation
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, JGAAP, local tax requirements, company policies, and internal controls
• Manage cash flow forecasting, liquidity monitoring, banking relationships, and treasury coordination
• Drive accounting process improvements, system enhancements, and finance transformation projects

Requirements:

• More than 7 years of experience in General Ledger accounting, financial reporting, or controllership-related roles
• Experience supporting statutory audits, external audits, tax compliance, and regulatory reporting activities
• Prior experience working within multinational organizations and/or shared service environments
• Proven experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or equivalent finance systems
• Knowledge of General Ledger processes, month-end close activities, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial reporting
• Understanding of IFRS and Japanese statutory accounting requirements
• Familiarity with internal controls, governance, and compliance requirements
• Native level Japanese; business level English

Preferred requirements:

• Possess valid professional accounting qualifications (JCPA, USCPA, ACCA) or equivalent
