財務マネージャー/ Finance Manager

A global hospitality company is looking for a Finance Manager. The selected candidate will oversee financial operations, reporting, compliance, cash management, internal controls, and the development of the Finance team.

Responsibilities:

• Manage accounting operations across AP, AR, GL, cash management, and month-end closing
• Review financial reports, reconciliations, journal entries, budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis
• Maintain internal controls and ensure compliance with accounting, tax, audit, legal, and regulatory requirements
• Oversee cash flow, credit, collections, vendor payments, statutory payments, and payroll coordination
• Supervise and develop Finance team members while promoting accuracy, accountability, and collaboration
• Improve finance systems, reporting tools, workflows, automation, and cross-departmental processes

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in accounting, finance, commerce, business administration, hospitality, or related domain is ideal
• 4-6 years of progressive accounting or finance experience (hotel or hospitality environment is a plus)
• Understanding of hotel accounting, financial reporting, AP, AR, GL, cash management, controls, and month-end close
• Proficient in MS Excel
• Business level Japanese (JLPT N3+); fluent level English

Preferred requirements:

• Experience with PMS such as Opera and accounting systems such as Oracle
• Proven supervisory or team leadership experience
• Understanding of US-GAAP, JP-GAAP, local statutory requirements, tax, and employment-related regulations
• Possess valid accounting designation or Nissho Boki qualification
