戦略的コミュニケーションコンサルタント/ Strategic Communications Consultant

An international communications consultancy firm is looking for a Strategic Communications Consultant. The successful candidate will provide strategic communications counsel, manage client engagements, develop communication strategies, strengthen media relationships, and support business development across a diverse portfolio of clients.

Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain trusted relationships by providing strategic communications counsel to business leaders
• Manage multiple projects and workstreams, ensuring timely delivery within project budgets
• Design and implement communications strategies, plans, and activities
• Draft strategic briefing documents, communication plans, narratives, messaging, and positioning materials
• Manage client accounts as a client lead, relationship manager, and trusted advisor
• Develop new business opportunities and expand existing client relationships
• Oversee and mentor junior colleagues by providing timely feedback and guidance
• Build and maintain relationships with major Japanese and international media outlets
• Conduct research and analysis to support strategic recommendations
• Develop key messages for media, shareholders, and other stakeholders

Requirements:

• More than 7 years of experience in strategic communications, in-house communications, public relations agencies, or media relations
• Experience leading and managing multiple projects
• Strong communication strategy development, project management, and leadership skills
• Fluent level Japanese and English

Preferred requirements:

• Understanding of financial terminology and experience handling financial topics
• Knowledge of the domestic and international media landscape
