VPセクター＆スペシャライズドレンディング/ VP Sector & Specialised Lending

A global bank in the financial services sector is hiring a Vice President for Sector & Specialised Lending. The selected candidate will manage structured lending transactions and provide tailored solutions across sectors.

Responsibilities:

• Lead structured lending transactions in collaboration with relationship managers and sector teams
• Conduct financial and credit analysis for new and existing clients
• Prepare credit proposals, financial models, and client marketing materials
• Negotiate term sheets, manage credit approval processes, and oversee deal execution
• Provide analytics, due diligence, and recommendations on lending structures
• Advise clients on lending products and coordinate club or syndicated deals
• Monitor portfolio performance and proactively manage risk and compliance
• Supervise covenant tracking, annual reviews, and credit risk reporting
• Support loan sales, insurance, securitisation, and capital velocity initiatives
• Mentor junior staff and contribute to internal process improvement and training

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in finance, economics, accounting, management, or engineering
• More than 7 years of relevant Wholesale Banking lending experience
• Proven experience in sectors such as energy, TMT, healthcare, transportation, or ECA financing
• Skilled in financial modelling, credit analysis, and structured lending execution
• Ability and willingness to manage projects and policy changes in a fast-paced environment
• Proficient in Japanese and English
