Head of Accounting

A global pharmaceutical company is looking for a Head of Accounting. The selected candidate will oversee all aspects of accounting, finance, and taxation.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise all accounting operations
• Oversee all finance-related functions
• Manage overall tax-related matters

Requirements:

• More than 20 years of experience in management is ideal
• Experience in auditing by certified public accountants
• Prior experience in dealing with advisory tax accountants and tax audits
• Knowledge of the Companies Act and approval of journal entries
• Understanding of financial accounting, management accounting, JGAAP, and IFRS
• Knowledge of tax (Corporate Tax Act, Consumption Tax Act, and other tax laws)
• Familiarity with derivatives, foreign exchange contracts, and foreign exchange law
• Business level English; proficient in spoken Chinese
