A leading financial services company is seeking a Bilingual Java Developer. The selected candidate will support internal system development and operations to drive business efficiency and digital transformation initiatives. This is a hybrid setup and contract role.

Responsibilities:

• Renovate and modernise existing systems
• Develop new features based on user needs
• Handle system issues and respond to user inquiries
• Strengthen team capabilities through collaboration with external partners
• Improve system maintainability and enhance productivity

Requirements:

• More than 3 years of experience in Java programming
• More than 3 years of experience in RDBMS database operations
• More than 3 years of experience with Linux development and operations
• Practical experience in the securities secondary business or finance industry is ideal
• Prior experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Python, Excel VBA, and Shell scripting is a plus
• Experience as a team leader is desired
• Interest in new technologies and challenges
• Conversational level Japanese
