オペレーションスペシャリスト/ Operations Specialist

A renowned technology company is seeking an Operations Specialist. The selected candidate will manage monthly billing processes, internal stakeholder support, and tool enhancements to ensure smooth service delivery. This is a hybrid setup and contract role.

Responsibilities:

• Execute and validate monthly billing cycle operations, including report checks and vendor coordination
• Handle internal inquiries in Japanese and English
• Develop and improve automation tools for operational efficiency
• Collaborate with internal teams to address system or data issues
• Contribute to process improvements through scripting and data analysis
• Support weekend or late-night operations with remote flexibility

Requirements:

• More than 2 years of experience in scripting language development
• More than 2 years of Unix development experience, including regular expressions and command-line operations
• Proficient in writing complex SQL queries across multiple tables
• Strong proficiency in MS Excel
• Ability and willingness to work 1–2 weekends or holidays per month (with compensatory leave)
• Willingness to work late-night shifts (remote-friendly)
• Possess a valid advanced MOS certification preferred
• Native level Japanese; conversational level English (TOEIC 600+)
