ソフトウェアプロジェクトエンジニア/ Software Project Engineer

A global consumer electronics company is looking for a Software Project Engineer. The selected candidate will lead software development, manage customer-facing technical coordination, and drive end-to-end project execution across the software lifecycle.

Responsibilities:

• Act as primary technical liaison for customers, representing the software domain
• Lead software development and integration for new product initiatives
• Translate customer and system requirements into detailed technical specifications
• Ensure alignment and traceability across system, technical, and customer requirements
• Manage full software development lifecycle using V-Model methodology
• Coordinate cross-functional teams and drive project delivery while supporting DFMEA/DRBFM activities

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in computer science or related field
• More than 3 years of experience in embedded software development (C/C++)
• More than 3 years of experience leading global development teams
• Understanding of inter-process communication, threading, and socket programming
• Skilled in embedded operating systems and debugging tools (e.g., GDB)
• Ability and willingness to travel locally and overseas
• Fluent level Japanese; business level English

Preferred requirements:

• Experience in automotive software development
• Knowledge of TCP/IP protocols and secure coding practices
• Understanding of ML, Agile methodologies (SCRUM, SAFe), and Automotive SPICE® (especially SWE.2)
• Familiarity with automotive standards like ISO24089, ISO26262, and ISO21434
