A global pharmaceutical company is looking for a Data Architecture professional. The selected candidate will design and implement scalable data ecosystems to drive analytics and digital transformation.

Responsibilities:

• Design a reliable and scalable data architecture aligned with the data strategy
• Evaluate and recommend data platforms, tools, and technologies
• Develop and manage data pipelines for seamless integration
• Establish data standards, governance policies, and best practices
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver effective data solutions
• Support master data architecture and contribute to global transformation initiatives
• Engage in infrastructure reliability, information security, and compliance topics

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in computer science, data science, information systems, or a related field
• More than 5 years of proven experience in data architecture, data engineering, or related roles
• Practical experience with architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman)
• Proficient in SQL, Python
• Experience with data modelling, ETL, data warehousing, Azure, metadata management, and tools like ADF, Event Hub, Databricks
• Familiarity with BI tools like Power BI
• Understanding of master data management concepts
• Ability to drive cross-functional initiatives and manage projects effectively
• Business level Japanese and English
