オペレーションスペシャリスト/ Operations Specialist

An Operations Specialist role is now open in a foreign financial services company. The chosen candidate will be responsible for managing daily settlements across multiple financial products.

Responsibilities:

• Process day-to-day settlements for Securities, Derivatives, FX, and Money Market products, coordinating with internal teams across global offices
• Perform trade capturing, confirmations, and settlement activities with both onshore and offshore clients
• Handle processing of life cycle events, reconciliations, and accounting control tasks
• Manage client, regulatory, and internal reporting, along with static data maintenance requests
• Oversee tax processing and cash management responsibilities
• Ensure adherence to AML/Financial Sanctions policies and escalate any related issues for analysis
• Communicate effectively in both English and Japanese across countries and departments, including with senior management and regulators
• Contribute to process improvements, time management, and root-cause analysis for problem-solving and operational efficiency

Requirements:

• More than 2 years of experience in the financial industries is preferred
• Proficient in MS Office
• Experience in Settlements is preferred (FX, Cash payments, Cash Management or Derivatives products) is desirable
• Possess a valid JSDA Sales Representative Qualification (Class 1 & 2) is preferred
• Native level Japanese; business level English
