An international financial services company is looking for a Japan Global Markets Strategy Lead. The selected candidate will provide analytical support and strategic expertise to drive business growth and positioning in the Global Markets sector.

Responsibilities:

• Provide analytical support and thought leadership on strategic initiatives for Global Markets
• Manage stakeholder relationships, support client interactions, and proactively address conflicts and risks
• Identify, analyse, and monitor factors affecting profitability, growth, and productivity
• Conduct competitor and industry research using public and non-public sources
• Analyse business profitability, macroeconomic indicators, and client segments, and perform strategic due diligence
• Prepare management presentations, business plans, reviews, and leadership updates
• Collaborate with global teams on broader firm-wide initiatives

Requirements:

• More than 8 years of experience in a strategy role within a bank, consulting firm, or financial institution
• Proven experience in financial modelling, data analysis, and strategic planning
• Proficient in MS Office Suite
• Interest in investment banking, capital markets, fintech, regulations, and market structures
• Ability to manage multiple projects and initiatives
• Proficient in written and verbal English and Japanese
