機械設計エンジニア/ Mechanical Design Engineer

A global semiconductor equipment engineering company is looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer. The selected candidate will design, develop, and evaluate mechanical components for advanced process equipment while driving performance improvements and technical validation.

Responsibilities:

• Design mechanical parts and assemblies for dry etching equipment and process chambers
• Create detailed 3D CAD models and technical drawings for production and testing
• Conduct mechanical analysis, experiments, and validation of designed components
• Investigate equipment performance issues and propose design improvements
• Develop and execute evaluation plans, including testing and troubleshooting
• Prepare BOMs and technical documentation to support engineering processes

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above
• 5-8 years of experience in automotive, semiconductor, and mechanical engineering
• More than 2 years of experience in 2D CAD design/creation
• Experience with Teamcenter
• Prior experience in 3D CAD operation (3D model creation)
• Background in experimentation and execution/verification of designed equipment
• Understanding of mechanical engineering (Thermal, materials, fluids, mechanical dynamics, etc.)
• Proficient in simulation analysis (strength analysis, structural analysis, etc.)
• Skilled in MS Office Suite
• Excellent Edge, UG NX, Catia, SolidWorks, Creo skills
• Native level Japanese (JLPT N2+); proficient in English is ideal
