A renowned food company is hiring an Associate Manager for Commercialisation. The selected candidate will lead new product development, manage co-manufacturer partnerships, and optimise product quality and cost.

Responsibilities:

• Drive commercialisation of new ice cream and beverage ingredient products under a fabless model
• Coordinate with co-manufacturers to align development with capacity, cost, and technical feasibility
• Oversee site selection, evaluation, and partnership with manufacturing plants
• Lead quality improvement and cost-saving initiatives for existing products
• Propose innovative product ideas using supplier and partner technologies
• Mentor and guide team members while supporting project and team growth

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in food technology, or food science
• More than 10 years of experience in the food industry as R&D, product development, application technologist, or similar
• Experience in product development from the creation of technological seeds to launch (especially in ice cream)
• Prior experience with laboratory and/or factory trials for product development and/or manufacturing process establishment
• Proven experience with OEM factories or ODM companies to establish products and production processes
• Background with trial protocol design, test, and data analysis for the benchmark, quality validation, and product development
• Knowledge of ingredient, formula, equipment, material, production process and production facilities for a variety of product formats
• Understanding of the food related law, regulation, and guideline (labelling/ claim)
• Proficient in written and spoken English
