シニアカスタマークオリティエンジニア/ Senior Customer Quality Engineer

A global manufacturing company is looking for a Senior Customer Quality Engineer. The selected candidate will lead customer quality initiatives, drive root cause analysis, and support cross-functional product and process improvements. This is a hybrid role.

Responsibilities:

• Respond to customer technical concerns through data analysis and structured problem-solving (8D, root cause)
• Engage with customers and internal teams on problem resolution, change management, and document reviews
• Manage VOC inputs and support NPI processes, audits, and product development initiatives
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, customers, and suppliers across regions and product lines
• Demonstrate strong execution, leadership, and teamwork aligned with organisational values
• Support documentation, reporting, and continuous improvement project tracking

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in science (chemical, mechanical, physics or electric/electronic engineering)
• Experience in an engineering role in the field of quality, process, equipment or materials within the semiconductor industry (VD/ CVD, CMP, Photo, Etch, Diffusion, Implant, BCD and Liquid/Air/Gas Filtration & Purification)
• Prior experience managing issues and projects between internal stakeholders and customers
• Proven experience in escalation management and project management focused on closing gaps between company and customer
• Background with applicable quality tools (pareto, FMEA’s, SPC, histograms, trend analysis, process mapping, design of experiments, cause and effect diagrams, 8D problem solving methodology)
• Proficient in MS Office Suite
• Ability and willingness to travel
• Professional level Japanese; proficient in spoken and written English

Preferred requirements:

• Experience in precursors related process
• Prior experience working from home / remotely and collaborating with colleagues, customers and suppliers in virtual meetings
