量子校正エンジニア/ Quantum Calibration Engineer
A leading technology computing organisation is seeking a Quantum Calibration Engineer. The selected candidate will design experimental routines, build calibration pipelines, and transform complex experimental data into actionable insights for quantum system optimisation.
Responsibilities:
- Design data-efficient experimental routines and robust analysis workflows to extract key quantum system parameters
- Develop, refine, and maintain calibration pipelines involving complex data flows
- Build data-fitting, optimisation, and parameter estimation routines for quantum systems
- Validate, document, and track calibration results to ensure reproducibility and traceability across systems and deployments
- Analyse experimental measurement data including noise handling, curve fitting, and model validation
- Integrate software with laboratory instruments and experimental control systems
- Support cross-functional collaboration with physicists, software engineers, and hardware specialists
- Contribute to the improvement of system performance, stability, and calibration accuracy
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, or related field
- Strong proficiency in Python including NumPy, SciPy, Pandas, and Matplotlib
- Experience working with experimental or measurement data including noise handling and curve fitting
- Knowledge of optimisation and regression techniques including least-squares, nonlinear fitting, and Bayesian inference
- Experience integrating software with hardware systems, lab instruments, or data acquisition tools
- Strong understanding of version control systems such as Git and structured software development practices
Preferred requirements:
- Machine learning or data-driven modelling experience
- Exposure to experimental physics or optics in a laboratory environment
- Knowledge of control systems theory and practice
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, or distributed computing systems
- Experience with signal processing and time-series analysis
- Proficiency in C or C++
