シニアファシリティエンジニア/ Senior Facility Engineer

A renowned data centre company is looking for a Senior Facility Engineer. The selected candidate will support data centre operations through capacity management, maintenance supervision, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities:

• Optimise assignment, utilisation, and reporting of data centre space and power
• Define and maintain security procedures and systems for the data centre
• Develop fault response and incident management workflows
• Consolidate performance and operational reports for management
• Implement certification programs such as ISO 27001, 14001, 45001 with consultants
• Supervise maintenance and construction work with vendors
• Manage landlord coordination and data centre-related inquiries
• Schedule and oversee maintenance for critical systems (electrical, mechanical, security, fire)
• Document SOP, MOP, EOP, and other facility operation materials
• Resolve infrastructure issues related to COLO and DC environments
• Assist in the design, construction, and commissioning of new data centres
• Oversee utility contracts and renewable energy procurement for data centres
• Support legal document submissions related to energy regulations
• Propose improvements in PUE, operational costs, and vendor performance
• Develop vendor diversity strategies for improved lead time and cost efficiency
• Enforce policies for health, safety, environmental, and information security compliance

Requirements:

• Diploma or above in electrical or mechanical engineering is ideal
• More than 2 years of experience in data centre facility management or operation
• Prior experience in vendor interaction and data centre operations
• Proficient in communication and coordination with internal and external stakeholders
• Possess valid certifications such as Electrical, Fire, Mechanical Engineer, CDCP or CDFOM is preferred
• Native level Japanese; business level English
