サイトオペレーションズディレクター/ Site Operations Director

A global data centre infrastructure company is seeking a Director, Site Operations. The selected candidate will lead site operations, manage engineering teams, ensure operational excellence, and drive performance across data centre facilities.

Responsibilities:

• Manage operations and engineering functions to ensure safe and effective operation of machinery and building systems
• Ensure best-in-class customer experience and operational excellence
• Lead, manage, coach, and develop site operations and engineering teams
• Foster a team-oriented environment through positive feedback and engagement
• Manage resources to achieve customer satisfaction, infrastructure reliability, budget, and KPI targets
• Collaborate with EHS to implement workplace safety strategies
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and operational best practices
• Support customer opportunities including tender inputs, calls, and site visits
• Develop and manage operations budget, capital expenditure, and operating expenses
• Define team performance goals and ensure delivery against targets
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching to team members
• Produce reports, data, and metrics aligned with company requirements
• Develop data-driven strategies to optimise operational processes and systems
• Drive innovation, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Maintain ISO accreditations through audit and compliance activities
• Act as a senior business representative in Japan

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in engineering, business or related field
• Experience in data centre or critical infrastructure industries
• Experience and knowledge of physical security in critical environments
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite and building automation systems
• Ability and willingness to travel

Preferred requirements:

• More than 10 years of experience in facility or plant engineering and maintenance supervision
• More than 10 years of experience in direct managerial roles
• Experience in data centre or critical infrastructure industries
• Experience and knowledge of physical security in critical environments
