品質エンジニア/ Quality Engineer

A global automotive technology company is looking for a Quality Engineer. The selected candidate will ensure product quality standards, drive continuous improvement, and support production through audits and quality control processes.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and update inspection instructions aligned with control plans
• Approve production work instructions ensuring proper inspections and measurement systems
• Enforce quality standards based on control plans, PFMEA, and standardised work
• Conduct audits across shifts to ensure compliance and identify deviations
• Lead non-conformity handling including containment and corrective actions
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and track quality performance indicators

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in engineering
• More than 3 years of professional experience
• Experience of leading problem-solving initiative
• Background in quality (MSA, capability study, R&R, SPC, Pareto data analysis, problem solving methodology, FMEA, Control Plan etc)
• Understanding of various Quality system methodologies: LEAN manufacturing, PPAP, etc.
• Business level English and Japanese

Preferred requirements:

• Experience in Lean manufacturing
• Background in engineering and manufacturing
• Familiarity with Customer standards and ISO 9001/ IATF 16949 requirements
• Possess valid audit qualification (VDA 6.3, etc)
