シニアコストアナリスト/ Senior Cost Analyst

A multinational electronics manufacturer is looking for a Senior Cost Analyst. The selected candidate will lead cost analysis, standard costing, and variance investigation to support financial accuracy and improvement. This is a hybrid role.

Responsibilities:

• Determine standard costs and investigate cost variances
• Lead and execute the annual standard cost-roll process
• Analyse and update standard costs and bill of materials
• Monitor and evaluate actual costs, material variances, and inventory results
• Support month-end closing with cost and variance analysis
• Handle special financial projects and resolve cost discrepancies

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in accounting, or finance
• More than 5 years of experience in manufacturing companies (cost accounting, profitability analysis and manufacturing cost reductions)
• Experience partnering with operations to create and execute cost reduction plans
• Understanding of GAAP
• Knowledge of manufacturing standard cost accounting and inventory valuation
• Skilled in accessing information from ERP systems
• Knowledge with JD Edwards and SAP
• Proficient in MS Excel
• Fluent level English; professional level Japanese
