ファイナンス・ディレクター/ Finance Director

A renowned real estate investment firm is hiring a Finance Director. The selected candidate will oversee financial reporting, budgeting, compliance, and capital management while leading a high-performing finance team.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee general ledger, monthly closings, and manage third-party accounting providers
• Supervise preparation of financial reports in JGAAP and IFRS for management and stakeholders
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning in coordination with internal departments
• Manage audit processes, tax filings, and relationships with auditors and tax advisors
• Implement internal controls and ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies
• Direct capital management, fund administration, and equity funding strategies
• Lead system implementations and drive financial process improvements
• Manage and mentor the accounting team to enhance capability and performance
• Provide strategic financial insights and identify opportunities for cost-saving and performance improvement

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• More than 20 years of accounting or finance experience
• More than 3 years of experience in a people management role
• Proven experience in financial leadership, team development, and cross-functional collaboration
• Prior experience in real estate funds or investment management companies preferred
• Proficient in accounting software, financial reporting tools, and advanced Excel
• Possess a valid CPA certification
• Business level Japanese and English
