税務スペシャリスト/ Tax Specialist

A global medical devices manufacturer is seeking a Tax Specialist. The selected candidate will ensure full tax compliance, manage tax filings, and collaborate across departments to support the business.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure tax compliance for assigned entities and liaise with external consultants
• Review and verify tax-related decisions and policies
• Lead tax return preparation and tax burden optimisation efforts
• Collaborate with M&A, Legal, Accounting, Strategy, and HR teams
• Act as primary contact for tax authorities and negotiate tactically
• Provide technical tax advice and prepare management reports

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above
• Experience in tax compliance in a company subject to the size-based taxation and having many branches
• Understanding of domestic and international tax for a multinational entity subject to the size-based taxation and having a many branches
• Understanding of IFRS/Local GAAP
• Excellent financial statement analysis skills
• Possess valid tax accountant qualification
• Native level Japanese; business level English
