ファイナンシャルコントローラー/ Financial Controller

A multinational healthcare company is looking for a Financial Controller. The selected candidate will manage financial risks, oversee financial planning and controls, support strategic decision-making, and ensure compliance across financial operations and distributor management.

Responsibilities:

• Provide financial counsel and analysis for proposed strategic growth initiatives and monitor local operations performance against financial plans
• Drive development and preparation of financial business plans and supporting analysis
• Advise senior management on profit maximisation, resource prioritisation, distributor management, and operational activities
• Manage full CFS functions including OTC, P2P, RTR month end, year end, FP&A, statutory reporting, tax, treasury, company secretary, and cash flow management
• Ensure integrity and reasonableness of financial data and compliance with corporate and division financial policies and procedures
• Implement and ensure adherence to accounting policies and procedures
• Ensure compliance with customs, antiboycott, embargo, and trade control laws and regulations
• Provide timely recommendations regarding financial risks associated with trade activities and inventory issues
• Cooperate with regional distributors to minimise write-offs and returns
• Review and approve distributor claims in coordination with finance and demand planning teams

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in finance or accounting
• 12-15 years of relevant experience, preferably in the healthcare or life science industry
• Knowledge of financial planning, controls, statutory reporting, tax, treasury, and cash flow management
• Understanding of GAAP and corporate financial compliance procedures
• Native level Japanese; business level English
