財務会計士/ Financial Accountant

An international fitness and wellness company is looking for a Financial Accountant. The selected candidate will support daily accounting operations, financial reporting, reconciliations, compliance activities, and continuous process improvements while working closely with the Finance team.

Responsibilities:

• Perform daily bank reconciliations and manage accounts receivable records
• Reconcile e-commerce sales and resolve customer payment discrepancies
• Process employee expenses and corporate credit card transactions accurately and on time
• Prepare and execute payments through online banking platforms
• Coordinate with the Central AP team to manage vendor payments and inquiries
• Support month-end close activities including AR management and prepaid expense calculations
• Reconcile intercompany transactions accurately and within deadlines
• Prepare financial data for audits and support corporate and consumption tax filings
• Respond to audit and tax-related inquiries with attention to detail
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and operational efficiency
• Support implementation of improved systems and continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements:

• More than 3 years of experience in accounting or related finance roles
• Experience using online banking systems and ERP platforms such as D365
• Advanced MS Excel skills and ability to work confidently with financial data
• Interest in fitness, wellness, or purpose-driven organisations
• Professional level Japanese and English
