財務マネージャー/ Finance Manager

An energy solutions company is looking for a Finance Manager. The selected candidate will be responsible for overseeing the overall general accounting function, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with statutory requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure accurate accounting data reporting and act as liaison with internal and external stakeholders
• Maintain a full set of accounts, including cash management, budget tracking, AP, intercompany, GL, and financial statements, in compliance with regulations
• Assist in all tax filings, external financial audits, TK submissions, etc., in coordination with outsourced professional firms
• Prepare and submit monthly financial reports and variance analyses to the head office
• Prepare quarterly cashflow projections, forecast, and annual Budget
• Operate bank accounts for all new entities
• Assist in the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures
• Handle staff expense claims processing, general office administration, such as office lease, in accordance with accounting requirements

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in accounting, finance, or a related field
• More than 10 years of relevant accounting experience
• Ability to close books, a full set of accounts, including consolidation
• Professional accounting certification (Nissho Boki, CPA)
• Proficient in Japanese and English

Preferred Requirements:

• Proficient in financial software applications and Excel
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficient in Mandarin
