シニア会計士/ Senior Accountant

An international medical technology company is looking for a Senior Accountant. The selected candidate will manage full-cycle accounting activities, including technical accounting, payroll, treasury, and statutory reporting to support accurate financial operations.

Responsibilities:

• Lead technical accounting activities in accordance with US GAAP and local GAAP, including balance sheet reconciliations and related adjustments
• Manage daily payment processes and treasury activities including cash flow forecasting, intercompany settlements, borrowing, and repayments
• Ensure accurate payroll accounting in coordination with HR including remittances and accrued expenses
• Prepare and submit statutory financial returns and tax filings including VAT, ensuring timely compliance with deadlines
• Support planning and execution of internal and external audits for accounting and tax records
• Collaborate with corporate accounting teams to ensure correct accounting treatment and support monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes
• Monitor banking contracts and maintain effective banking relationships
• Provide support and occasional mentoring to junior accounting staff

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Accounting or Finance
• More than 10 years of experience in a multicultural business environment
• Experience in treasury management and cash flow processes
• Working knowledge of US GAAP and Japanese statutory accounting standards
• Proficient in Japanese and English

Preferred requirements:

• Big 4 audit experience
• Possess a valid CPA qualification
