アカウンタント/ Accountant

A multinational logistics and transport company is looking for an Accountant. The selected candidate will handle full-spectrum accounting operations and support process improvements aligned with both local and head office standards. This is a hybrid setup role.

Responsibilities:

• Manage daily accounting operations in line with local and HQ guidelines
• Coordinate task distribution and ensure team backup coverage
• Monitor bank accounts and reconcile SAP transactions
• Handle accounts payable and receivable efficiently
• Prepare monthly and yearly closing reports and collaborate with HQ
• Forecast and monitor cash flow, escalating concerns when needed
• Manage employee expense processing and petty cash
• Ensure data accuracy in financial reporting
• Maintain and enforce accounting policies and procedures
• Support budgeting and mid-year review processes
• Propose process improvements and corrective actions
• Coordinate annual audits and manage fiscal documentation
• Participate in internal meetings and training programs
• Ensure regulatory compliance and drive continuous improvement

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an Accounting or Finance Manager
• Advanced skills in MS Office Suite, accounting software, and databases
• Excellent supervisory and communication skills
• Proficient in written and verbal English and Japanese
