財務アシスタントマネージャー/ Finance Assistant Manager

A global machinery manufacturer is looking for a Finance Assistant Manager. The selected candidate will oversee accounting operations, reporting, and tax compliance while supporting continuous process improvement. This is a hybrid role.

Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end accounting for one legal entity
• Handle monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing, including AP/AR, GL, inventory, cash flow, and fixed assets
• Ensure proper accounting entries and compliance with IFRS
• Support financial reporting and audits in collaboration with finance leadership
• Manage tax filings, documentation, and transfer pricing with consultants
• Drive process improvement and support new business accounting models

Requirements:

• More than 10 years of experience in monthly closing is ideal
• Experience in external and internal audit in accounting aspects is a plus
• Prior experience in profit center reporting is preferred
• Background in audit as accounting auditor
• Knowledge of IFRS, JGAAP including tax accounting
• Proficient in MS Excel, VLOOKUP, Sumlf, SumProduct, Pivot Table
• Skilled in SAP (FI, CO, AA modules)
• Excellent ERP skills (SAP BW, SmartView, Essbase, Concur, S400)
• Possess valid CPA qualification
• Professional level Japanese; business level reading, written, and spoken English
