Director of Finance and Accounting

An international hospitality company is looking for a Director of Finance and Accounting. The selected candidate will oversee hotel financial operations, ensure compliance, and drive profitability through strategic financial management.

Responsibilities:

• Direct financial operations, ensuring compliance and security of hotel assets
• Manage and develop the finance team, providing coaching and performance feedback
• Oversee accounting practices, financial controls, and regulatory compliance
• Lead budget creation, financial analysis, and cost-saving initiatives
• Optimise cash flow, accounts reconciliation, and financial reporting
• Handle contracts, audits, and liaise with regulatory agencies and stakeholders

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Accounting or Finance
• 4-8 years’ experience in hotel accounting or audit, including a supervisory role
• Strong knowledge of accounting management, payroll, and tax filing
• Possess a valid professional finance or accounting certification is desired
• Native level Japanese; other languages preferred
