翻訳・通訳スペシャリスト/ Translation and Interpretation Specialist

An international consumer goods company is looking for a Translation & Interpretation Specialist. The selected candidate will handle the translation of HR-related documents and support communication between English and Japanese with accuracy and cultural sensitivity. This is a hybrid setup and contract role.

Responsibilities:

• Translate HR documents, presentations, training materials, and internal communications between English and Japanese
• Collaborate with HR teams to ensure accurate understanding of terminology and context
• Learn and apply internal jargon, acronyms, and evolving terminology quickly
• Deliver translations within tight deadlines while maintaining high quality
• Ensure consistency in tone, style, and terminology across all translated materials
• Provide linguistic support during meetings and training sessions
• Utilise AI tools like MS Copilot while ensuring human-level accuracy and contextual nuance

Requirements:

• Previous professional translation experience in HR, corporate communications, or related fields
• Experience working in a multinational or bilingual corporate environment is ideal
• Strong understanding of HR and business terminology
• Familiarity with labour relations and HR practices in Japan and/or globally is a plus
• Proficiency in translation tools or software preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Native level Japanese; professional level English
