法務シニアスーパーバイザー/ Legal Senior Supervisor

A global sports and golf equipment company is seeking a Legal Senior Supervisor. The selected candidate will provide legal counsel, manage intellectual property protection, and support commercial operations while ensuring compliance with applicable laws and internal governance.

Responsibilities:

• Draft, review, and support negotiation of a broad range of commercial contracts
• Provide legal and compliance advice to internal stakeholders while balancing risk and business opportunities
• Draft internal policies, procedures, and governance documents in compliance with applicable laws
• Review external-facing content including advertising, promotional materials, and communications for legal compliance
• Support employee training programmes on legal compliance and internal policies
• Coordinate with external counsel and manage outside legal relationships
• Support intellectual property matters including licensing, litigation, and filings
• Conduct IP clearance reviews for product names and designs
• Lead anti-counterfeiting initiatives across physical retail and digital marketplaces
• Support customs enforcement procedures related to intellectual property rights
• Collaborate with global legal teams to localise and implement group-wide policies for the Japan market
• Work cross-functionally with internal departments to resolve legal issues and strengthen compliance culture

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above
• More than 5 years of legal and/or intellectual property experience at a Japanese law firm or Japanese subsidiary of a multinational company
• Solid grounding in civil law, intellectual property law, and advertising regulations
• Ability to simplify complex legal concepts and build consensus across stakeholders
• Genuine interest in the sports industry
• Native level Japanese; business level English
