法務スペシャリスト/ Legal Specialist

An international retail company is searching for a Legal Specialist. The chosen applicant will support in reviewing, advising, and ensuring legal compliance across business operations. This is a hybrid setup role.

Responsibilities:

• Cooperate with, integrate into the business, and build good relations with stakeholders to secure mutually sustainable solutions
• Review, draft, and negotiate commercial agreements and legal documents
• Proactively support management and stakeholders to secure rights, assess obligations, reduce legal risks, and optimise business opportunities
• Actively cooperate with Group Legal & Governance to secure alignment with the country agenda
• Contribute to and support the implementation of the Business Plan, development projects, and the corresponding roadmap
• Implement standard processes and ways of working for the legal area in the Ingka Group
• Develop competence and provide education to relevant stakeholders on laws and regulations
• Stay updated on relevant international and local legal and governance developments, including changes in domestic and case law

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in law in Japan (Master’s degree in law from another jurisdiction is a plus)
• More than 3 years of professional experience in a legal function
• Logical and analytical thinking
• Adaptability towards an international, multicultural, and diverse environment
• Fluent level Japanese; proficient in English (TOEIC 900+)
