事業開発マネージャー/ Business Development Manager

A global electric systems manufacturer is looking for a Business Development Manager, Powder Metal. The selected candidate will drive market development, customer engagement, and product growth for powder metal sintered products in Japan.

Responsibilities:

• Grow and manage sales and profitability of powder metal sintered products
• Build and maintain strong relationships with target customers
• Lead new product acquisition for components and sub-assemblies
• Serve as the technical and commercial point of contact for customer projects
• Provide insights on pricing, market trends, customer needs, and competition
• Coordinate with internal teams for product design, quotations, and delivery

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in engineering
• Experience in recommending the right product to meet customer specifications
• Prior experience within a global organisation and used to working on international projects
• Knowledge of automotive industry applications for powder metal sintered products (powertrain and transmission segments)
• Understanding of factors affecting profits and ROI
• Proficient in MS Project and MS Office tools
• Possess network within the Japan customer base relevant departments (OEM and Tier 1)
• Ability and willingness to travel
• Proficient in reading, written, and verbal Japanese and English
