事業開発マネージャー/ Business Development Manager

A global IT company is looking for a Business Development Manager. The selected candidate will lead and expand strategic partnerships to drive growth in Japan.

Responsibilities:

• Drive development of the local partnerships program aligned with global objectives
• Identify, onboard, and grow channel and product partners in Japan
• Build partner plans to enable mutual growth with new partners and referred sellers
• Represent the value of the platform and ecosystem to internal and external stakeholders
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance product functionality and distribution
• Manage the full partner lifecycle from sourcing to long-term success management

Requirements:

• More than 7 years of experience in strategic business development, partner management, or sales
• Experience closing deals, from tactical, mid-size opportunities, to strategic and complex partners in Japan
• Prior experience in closing channel partners and working with partner sales teams to create new seller leads
• Proven experience developing partnership strategies at a long-established, or high-growth technology or product-driven company in Japan
• Background managing high volume with fast execution velocity
• Excellent project management skills
• Proficient in spoken and written Japanese; business level spoken and written English
