営業担当/ Sales
A global specialty ingredient company is looking for a Sales role. The selected applicant will be responsible for driving sales growth in Japan by managing existing accounts and developing new business opportunities.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and grow sales with existing customers while actively developing new leads and prospects in Japan
- Promote and sell the ingredient portfolio using a consultative, solution-oriented sales approach
- Understand customer needs and provide product recommendations aligned with market trends and technical requirements
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders (R&D, Purchasing, Senior Management)
- Prepare clear and effective proposals, quotations, and commercial documents
- Collaborate with internal teams (product management, logistics, quality, marketing, finance) to ensure smooth project execution
- Monitor competitors, market dynamics, and identify opportunities for new products or applications
- Handle customer inquiries, issues, and complaints with efficiency and professionalism
- Maintain accurate records of activities and pipelines in CRM/ERP systems
- Attend key industry events, trade shows, and customer visits
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or above (advanced degree is a plus)
- More than 5 years of B2B sales experience, ideally in nutritional ingredients, food & beverage, or dietary supplement industries
- Proven experience in account management and business development
- Familiarity with CRM/ERP systems and excellent command of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to work effectively across cultures with strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
