Head of BD

An international chemical company is seeking a Head of Business Development for its Automotive and Industry sector. This senior leadership role will drive strategic growth across E-mobility, Marine, Dielectrics, and related industries.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of Business Development Managers to drive market growth
• Develop and implement business development strategies aligned with company vision
• Identify and pursue new market opportunities, partnerships, and customer segments
• Foster relationships with key industry players to expand market presence
• Oversee customer engagement, product launches, and business proposal development
• Monitor business performance, ensuring revenue and profitability growth

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Economics, Mechanical or Chemical Engineering preferred)
• More than 5 years of key account management experience in sales or engineering sales at manufacturers/makers (chemical products preferred) or Automotive & Tier companies
• Experience in Battery, BIW, Interior, or NVH-related businesses and working with JOEM/OES
• Native level Japanese; fluent level English,
