Head of HR

A global medical device company is looking for a Head of HR. The selected candidate will drive HR strategy, talent acquisition, performance systems, and labor relations. This is a hybrid role.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business goals
• Enhance HR systems and policies
• Lead recruitment strategies and workforce planning
• Manage training programs and employee development
• Oversee performance evaluation and compensation frameworks
• Promote organisational culture and manage internal programs

Requirements:

• More than 10 years of experience in HR planning and management (medical device, pharmaceutical, biotech, or FMCG industries is ideal)
• Experience as CHRO or senior HR leader in a Japanese corporation
• Prior experience across all HR areas is ideal
• Proven experience in organisational restructuring or system upgrades (HRIS implementation)
• Knowledge of Japanese labor laws and regulations is a plus
• Excellent leadership skills
• Strong management and data analysis skills
• Possess valid authorisation to work in Japan
• Fluent level Japanese; business level English (Korean is preferred)
