Head of People and Culture

A global pharmaceutical organisation is looking for a Head of People and Culture. The selected candidate will drive strategic talent initiatives, organisational development, and employee lifecycle management to align with business goals. This is a hybrid role.

Responsibilities:

• Act as strategic talent partner aligning people initiatives with business objectives
• Lead organisational change and implement high-impact HR interventions
• Drive leadership development and employee engagement across teams
• Partner with stakeholders to design and deliver learning programs
• Oversee recruitment for key roles and promote internal mobility
• Manage employee lifecycle and relations while contributing to global talent projects

Requirements:

• Skilled in leveraging HR systems/technology
• Knowledge in Japan’s local HR policies, labour legal requirements, and local talent market insights
• Background in leveraging HR systems/technology, ensuring data quality and using analytics to support local HR decision-making
• Bilingual level Japanese and English

Preferred requirements:

• Experience in life sciences or healthcare industry
• Prior international or oversea work experience
