ピープルオペレーション シニアスペシャリスト/ People Operations Sr. Specialist
A multinational logistics company is looking for a Senior Specialist, People Operations Japan. The selected candidate will manage full-cycle HR operations, payroll, and regional HR initiatives in alignment with both local regulations and global frameworks. This is a hybrid setup role.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver end-to-end HR support, including onboarding, employee relations, performance management, and offboarding
- Prepare and verify monthly payroll in coordination with the finance team, ensuring compliance with local laws
- Partner with hiring managers and Talent Acquisition on workforce planning and recruitment logistics
- Support organisational changes by providing HR insights and ensuring operational execution
- Administer performance reviews, compensation processes, and job description updates
- Maintain accurate employee records in compliance with labour laws and audit requirements
- Lead and support HR training initiatives, including orientation and compliance programs
- Contribute to regional and global HR projects such as system updates and reporting enhancements
- Act as the local contact for HR policy interpretation and issue resolution
- Monitor legislative changes and propose policy or process updates
- Analyse HR data to identify trends and support continuous improvement
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Human Resources, Business, or a related field
- More than 3 years of HR generalist experience in a multinational company
- Experience in HR operations, payroll processing, and recruitment support
- Hands-on experience with HRIS systems (Workday is preferable)
- Proficient in Japanese labour laws and payroll regulations
- Ability to translate business needs into practical HR solutions
- Professional level Japanese and English
